About Your Instructor,  Evangeline Weiss


Evangeline isn't just an instructor; she's a social change designer with over two decades of hands-on experience in community building and organizational development.

Evangeline's work spans various sectors, from tech companies to universities, food justice coalitions, and even the New York City Department of Health.

Her early career involved training social workers and emergency responders in HIV test counseling, laying the foundation for her deep understanding of sensitive and important conversations. She further honed her expertise during her 5-year tenure as the Director of Diversity & Equity at Duke University's Office for Institutional Equity where she tackled issues of racial justice head-on. Her role as the leadership program director at the National LGBTQ Task Force also highlights her commitment to intersectional justice.
